This week in investigations we will focusing on camp and discussing the importance of having someone to talk to about our feelings on camp.
We had Connor, Naomi, Natalya and Amber baking today and they did a great job and learnt lots of self-management and co-operative skills.
We also had dress up day today and everyone enjoyed the fun!
On Tuesday, Max from St Johns visited us to teach Room 12 what we should do in an emergency. He talked to us about the three different emergency services Fire Brigade, Ambulance and Police. We learnt what we should do when we ring the emergency number 111. Then, we need to know which service we want, we tell them our name. telephone number, our address or location and our age then we tell them about the situation we are in. We also did some practical first aid including bandaging a bleeding wound.
