This week Sarah and I have been doing assessments to make sure we know exactly what the next steps are for individual children's learning.
On Thursday, we hosted Sunshine Hui and it was a lovely time for students to share their work, for us to recognise good learning and work habits and to sing "Happy Birthday" to the students who have recently celebrated a birthday.
Next week we will be re-starting our normal reading group programme and books will start to come home again. Remember if your child does not bring a book home they should be encouraged to get a book out of their group box or read something they have chosen from the school library. They are also encouraged to practice their times tables. Most students are learning 2, 5, 10 or 3's times tables.
On Monday we have Jan Treeby in for the day while Sarah Doyle has her Contact Release Day and the following Monday I will have my Contact Release Day.
We have swimming on Monday, assembly on Wednesday at 2.20pm and our Library session on Thursday afternoon. If there is anything you would like to discuss or ask us please come in and talk to us, email us or book an appointment. See you at the disco tonight.
